      <image:caption>Summit Pilates opened in 2015. We are a boutique studio that offers a contemporary approach to the original exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates. We utilize the Pilates Reformer, Pilates Chair, Cadillac Tower, Barre, Jump board and other props to quickly achieve a sleek, defined physique. We focus on small class sizes to offer a more individualized and personal style of training. This training method allows you to better understand proper form, set and achieve specific goals, be apart of a community, and have fun! We offer quality based classes and training services. Summit Pilates &amp; Training welcomes all fitness levels and encourages individuals to step out side of their comfort zone to experience the amazing benefits of all our classes and find your greatest wellness SUMMIT. All of our trainers are well trained and provide a safe and comfortable environment.       <image:caption>Tobias Keene, D.D.S. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. When not striving to keep his patients happy and healthy, he’s enjoys hiking with his family in Rock Creek Park.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Bri has been with Summit from the very beginning. Her main focus is helping each individual reach their goals through the variety of classes offered at the studio. She believes in having variation in your workout program to find you find your greatest wellness SUMMIT. She believes in finding what works for you and most importantly what you enjoy! Bri holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with an emphasis in Exercise Science. She also has a minor in Coaching and Wellness to help her better understand the body as a whole and better train each individual how they will best respond to their exercise program. She earned her PEAK Pilates certificate and has years of Pilates teaching and personal training experience. Her true passion is helping people of all levels, ages, and abilities accomplish what they never thought they could and seeing them build confidence throughout the process.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Kelly works with all ages and physical abilities.  One of her favorite quotes is “ It’s not the weight that holds you down, it’s the way you carry it.” CS Lewis. Kelly believes this applies not only to your physical abilities, but to many things in life.  Kelly started her personal training journey in 2006, and has been teaching Pilates classes since 2011. She has her Associates in Health and Exercise Science through MN school of Business, and holds her NASM Personal Training certification and Balanced Body comprehensive Pilates certification. She also has her Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification through NASM, and many more. Kelly’s mission is to empower a healthier you by incorporating fitness into your everyday life.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Olivia’s appreciation for fitness and living a healthy lifestyle began at an early age. She started participating in figure skating, hockey, group fitness classes and playing golf through high school. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Minnesota State University-Mankato, she started a career in physical rehabilitation. Olivia believes movement is the best medicine and an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. After having her first child, she and her husband decided to raise a family and Olivia became an active full-time mom with four children. In 2023, she became a certified Pilates instructor through Peak Pilates. Pilates has been a central part of her healthy lifestyle – providing stress relief, regaining core strength, building self-confidence, and supporting muscle rehabilitation. As a golfer, Pilates has improved her golf performance in terms of power and flexibility. She is excited to share its benefits with others to experience for themselves!</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Please be aware we have a 24 hour cancellation policy for privates, semi-privates, all classes and drop-in's.  Failure to cancel prior to 24 hours will result in losing your session/class. Please silent your cell-phones and avoid carrying with you during class as this create disruption for the rest of the students. If you are new to Pilates Reformer it is highly recommended that you do a private session with a trainer to get familiarized with the equipment, so you feel comfortable attending a class. We do not level our classes - our class sizes are small so we can accommodate once the trainer feels you are ready for a class setting. We offer a Pilates Intro pack, 3 private 55 minute sessions with one of our trainers - this is the best place to start for beginners on the Pilates Reformer, this is a discounted package for $175.
